The Preventions, Retention and Contingency Program (PRC) of Perry County is designed to provide benefits and services to low-income families to overcome immediate barriers that prevent the achievement of self-sufficiency by promoting work and personal responsibility.
Vehicle repairs and employment relocation
PRC funding is only for vehicle repairs, tires, and relocation closer to your employment.
What you will need before applying
Vehicle repairs and tires
Last 30 days of income. If you have just started working, bring a statement from your employer listing hours per week, rate of pay, and your start date.
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of insurance
- Title or registration for the vehicle
- Three estimates for the work to be done
Relocation closer to employment
Last 30 days of income. If you have just started working, bring a statement from your employer listing hours per week, rate of pay, and your start date.
- A statement from your landlord with their name, address, and signature, giving the physical address you are moving to and the deposit required
