Information for Veterans
Our goal is to help eligible veterans — including disabled veterans, campaign veterans, other targeted veterans and eligible spouses — find work and move out of underemployment.
The Ohio GI Promise allows all veterans of the U.S. Armed Services, along with their spouses and dependents, to attend Ohio colleges and universities at in-state tuition rates.
Veteran priority of service
Priority of service means that for any qualified job training program, a covered person takes precedence over a non-covered person in receiving employment, training and placement services. It is federally mandated under 20 CFR Part 1010, and applies to every U.S. Department of Labor funded employment and training program.
