Comprehensive Case Management and Employment Program (CCMEP)

CCMEP helps the emerging workforce prepare for and find meaningful employment, and works to break the cycle of poverty for thousands of Ohioans.

What is CCMEP?

Ohio created CCMEP to serve low-income Ohioans ages 14 to 24 through a single integrated program, combining the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Youth program.

What CCMEP means for Perry County youth

CCMEP provides employment and training services based on a comprehensive assessment of each participant’s employment, training and basic skills needs. Services support the goals set out in the participant’s individual opportunity plan, and may include:

• Support to obtain a high school diploma
• Job placement
• Work experience
• Supportive services such as child care, transportation and obtaining a driver’s license
• Leadership activities and financial literacy

  • Transportation
